SastoHost Restore Guide (cPanel)

Follow these steps to restore your backup

Step 1: Log in to cPanel

Access your cPanel account using your hosting login URL.

Step 2: Open Backup Wizard

Navigate to the Files section and click on Backup Wizard.

Step 3: Click "Restore"

On the Backup Wizard page, click the Restore button.

Step 4: Select Restore Type

Choose the type of backup you want to restore:

• Home Directory – Restore website files
• MySQL Databases – Restore database
• Email Forwarders & Filters

Step 5: Upload Backup File

Click Choose File, select your backup file from your computer, and then click Upload to begin restoration.

Important Notes

• Ensure your backup file format is correct (.tar.gz or .sql).
• Restoring will overwrite existing data.
• Full backups cannot be restored from cPanel—only partial backups are supported.
