SastoHost Backup Guide (cPanel)

Follow these steps to generate a backup of your account

Step 1: Open Backup Wizard

Login to cPanel and click on Backup Wizard under the Files section.

Step 2: Click "Back Up"

On the Backup Wizard screen, click the Back Up button to start the process.

Step 3: Choose Backup Type

Select the type of backup:

• Full Backup - Entire account backup
• Partial Backup - Specific items only

Step 4: Generate Full Backup

If you choose full backup:

• Select Backup Destination (Home Directory recommended)
• Enter your email (optional)
• Click Generate Backup

Step 5: Partial Backup Options

If you choose partial backup, select what you want to download:

• Home Directory
• MySQL Databases
• Email Forwarders & Filters

Step 6: Download Backup

Click the available backup file or database name to download it.

Important Notes

• Full backups are used for migration and cannot be restored via cPanel.
• Partial backups can be restored directly.
• Backup files are usually in .tar.gz or .sql format.
