Why Has the .COM Domain Price Increased?

We would like to inform our customers that the price of .COM domain registrations and renewals has increased due to an official registry-level price update.

Earlier, the cost of .COM domains was lower. However, the official .COM registry has now increased the wholesale price. Because of this, domain providers like Sasto.Host also need to update the pricing for .COM domain registration, renewal, and transfer services.

Important: This is not only a Sasto.Host price change. This increase comes from the official .COM registry level and may affect domain providers worldwide.

What does this mean for you?

  • New .COM domain registrations may cost more than before.
  • .COM domain renewals may also be updated with the new price.
  • Customers with existing .COM domains are advised to renew early if possible.
  • Other domain extensions may not be affected unless their registry also changes pricing.

Why did this happen?

Domain prices are controlled by registry operators and international domain authorities. When the official registry increases the base price of a domain extension, registrars and hosting providers must adjust their prices accordingly.

Our Promise

At Sasto.Host, we always try to keep our domain pricing fair, simple, and affordable. Even after this official price increase, we will continue working to provide the best possible price and support to our customers.
